Polyphenols - protection against radicals
The polyphenols are among the phytochemicals. They have a strong antioxidant effect, d. H. they can scavenge free radicals, which lead to cell damage in our organism through oxidation. Due to its high antioxidant potential, polyphenols are said to have a protective effect on many degenerative diseases such as cancer and cardiovascular disease.
